Being nice to yourself is an important fundamental. Other fundamentals I’m working on are taking a moment to breathe and don’t react straight away, not to mention actually reaching out to human connection.

I could reach out to a specific person and talk to them about it.

Little Liz looks down: I could say “I ought to just know this by now!”

Little Liz looks up: But instead, I’ll say, you’re never too old to practice the fundamentals.
