It's very exciting that Liz Argall's short story "Falling Leaves" has been short listed for an Aurealis Award for best YA Short Story. It's available to read for free online at Apex Magazine. Unlike the Things it's not really a hug when you need it, although for some it might be a place for anger and sadness to have room to grieve and heal. Content advisory, it has some hard hitting themes and spends time with some of the tougher parts of being a young adult.
