Oh my, this was me so much as a teen! All the strange positions. I’ll still hyperfocus with my legs crossed and lose feeling in my feet sometimes. I don’t read half as much as I did as a teen, but it has been nice carving out more time to read for myself these days.
There have been times when reading has been extremely difficult, but I’m slowly getting back into a place where it can be joyful, restful and relaxing, rather than just work/a thing to do to feel accomplished or virtuous!
Thanks to all my patrons and a special big extra thanks to Kate Webb, Erik Owomoyela, Xander Odell, Stuart Barrow, Jesse the K and Brian Fies.

Pins and Needles webcomic transcript
Bunson Hoppydew, a little pink bunny, he likes dancing, friendship and cake, sits in a slightly weird way, with paws on top of each other as he reads a book.
Bunson looks at front paws that have become all wobbly looking.
Bunson: I sat on my paws funny and now they’re all tingly and numb!
Bunson looks at his back paws that have gone all wobbly looking.
Bunson stretches out to lie on his belly more and keeps reading.
Bunson: Oh well! This book isn’t going to read itself!
