Here are some more wise words from Jessica Abel. And a good reminder for me! Recently at work I’ve been thinking about people as horses a bunch. A thoroughbred can love to run, but they can’t be running all the time. It’s not a good thing to over train a horse. If you wouldn’t treat a horse that way, don’t treat yourself that way.

Dear Friends of the Things,
Our three times a week schedule has suffered over the last few months (stupid real life!). We’re getting back into it, but the struggle to earn a living wage (through job search or freelance) is time and energy consuming.
We’re going to a once a week update schedule. Fresh Things every Monday is a can hold ourselves to.

Exciting news, the Things Calendar from spoonflower arrived in the mail! I ordered a yard so I could get four for a cheaper price, but a fat quarter will get you one. They look quite large and fabulous. I think they will make rather snazzy Christmas gifts!
